JAKARTA, Nov 29 — Plantation and Commodities Minister Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani has called for greater cooperation between Malaysia and Indonesia to address the regulatory challenges facing the global palm oil industry.

KUALA LUMPUR, June 29 — The European Commission (EC), Indonesia, and Malaysia have agreed to set up a joint task force to strengthen the cooperation on the implementation of the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), which will hold its first meeting in the first week of August 2023.

KUALA LUMPUR, May 17 — Malaysia and Indonesia are geared up for a two-day joint mission to Brussels beginning May 30 to deliberate on issues pertaining to recent developments in the European Union (EU), particularly the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) that is negatively impacting the palm oil industry.

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 10 — Representatives that attended the Council of Palm Oil Producing Countries’ (CPOPC) latest forum have stated their support on efforts to establish a global alliance to counter negative campaigns or stigmatisation of palm oil.
